Assigning Kiosk Only Users

Connection Card Pro’s Check-In Kiosk makes it easy to check-in children and youth, and even adults! Use either the Service Counter or Self-Check-In kiosk or have both options available!

Your Administrative Users in Connection Card Pro are those who are on staff, or trusted volunteers, who will need to have access to Connection Card Pro for all administrative needs and accounting/bookkeeping roles.

When assigning someone permission who will only be running the Kiosk for check-ins and does not need access into any other areas of your database, we have a special preset “Kiosk Only User” role that you can use when adding them to allow them permission to work in the Kiosk but not access any other features.

User accounts should only be created for trusted individuals, such as leaders, staff, and key volunteers.

2 Ways To Add KIOSK ONLY Users:

1. Add your Kiosk Only users individually, so they have their own individual log-in and password.

2. Create one Kiosk Only generic log-in for all of your Kiosk Only volunteers to use the same log-in.

1. Add your Kiosk Only Users Individually with Separate Log-ins:

From the menu:
Manage > Administrative Users

A Kiosk Only User only has access to your Kiosk check-in site, to perform all necessary Check-In (and Check-Out) duties.

After creating and adding them as a Kiosk Only user they will automatically receive an email with a link to log in. Once they log in and create their password, they will have access to whatever permissions you have granted them in their role.

Note: They will not receive this link if they have already created a log in to use their personal Hub portal, as that login and password will be the same one they can now use for logging into the Kiosk, with additional access to the Kiosk now available to them.

To start the Kiosk, have your Kiosk users go to connectioncardpro.com and log-in.

See our help documents on Kiosk Settings for Check-In and Check-In using Service Counter or Self-Check-In!

2. Create One Kiosk Only Generic Log-in for All of your Kiosk Only Volunteers to Use the Same Log-in

Creating one generic contact for log-in allows for all of your Kiosk only volunteers to have the same log-in by using one of your organization’s emails, such as info@yourorganization and a password you create.

From the menu:
Manage > Administrative Users

All Kiosk volunteers can use this same log-in from any of your kiosk locations and will only have access to the Kiosk functions necessary to perform Check-In (and Check-Out) duties.

To log into the Kiosk, have your Kiosk users go to connectioncardpro.com and log-in with your organizations email and password you created. It will then open to the Kiosk settings page.

See our help documents on Kiosk Settings for Check-In and Check-In using Service Counter or Self-Check-In!
