Letterhead Templates

Connection Card Pro’s Letterhead Template is a great feature for customizing your own letterhead, which you can then mail merge with your letters also created in Connection Card Pro! Making changes to your letterhead is easy when you need to change the website, logo, phone number or other lines in your header or footer. You can make those changes here quickly, keeping your letterhead always up to date and saving money on ordering more printed letterhead!

Connection Card Pro’s letters and mailing features include everything needed for your mailouts! Create your custom Letterhead and Letter templates right here, with the option to add Digital Signatures to your letters, along with adding links and images. In Communications > Letters & Mailings > Generate Letters you can “mail-merge” names and addresses from your database to your letter template and your custom letterhead template.

To Create a Letterhead Template

From the menu:
Communications > Letters & Mailings > Letterheads

• Click on “Add New”
• Name your letterhead for easy retrieval.
• The Header box will fill in as you type in your Heading lines below it. This is your preview screen for your header! Your logo will not show in this header preview screen, just the typed lines.
• Logo: To Upload a new logo, click on the Logo box dropdown, and select "Upload New Logo", then click on the pop-up “Choose File” box and upload your file.
• To select a previously uploaded logo/image click on the logo box dropdown and select that file.
• Create your header such as your organization’s name for the First line, and website, slogan, etc. in the next lines, using the formatting options to the right and below each line of text you add.
• Select if you would like a Horizontal Line in the Header area or footer, with formatting options available. If no, leave blank.
  
• The next large white box is your preview screen for the Footer. Type in your footer lines below it, along with any formatting options for each line to the right.
• Save.

Use your Letterhead Template(s) to merge with your Letters when you do a mail merge. You can mail merge your letters from Communications > Letters & Mailings > Generate Letters.  See our help documents on mail merging.
